BELLINGHAM, Wash. - Two crashes on northbound I-5 in Bellingham are now clear and the freeway is back open.
The crashes happened just north of Lakeway Drive, creating a large backup on the freeway.
Traffic was being diverted to Lakeway Drive during the closure.
Trooper Kelsey Harding said one person was seriously injured in a crash involving a semi truck and car.
