Your ultimate guide to Leavenworth Oktoberfest 2024

As the fall season grows nearer, so does Oktoberfest. Tickets are going on sale for events in Leavenworth, so here's what to know about the Eastern Washington destination.

When is Oktoberfest in Leavenworth taking place?

The Bavarian Village of Leavenworth will host Oktoberfest events on three weekends in October: 

  • Oct. 4-5
  • Oct. 11-12
  • Oct. 18-19

How much does it cost to go to Oktoberfest in Leavenworth?

  • Friday admission: $15 (6 p.m.- 12 a.m.)
  • Saturday admission: $30 (12 p.m.- 12 a.m.)
  • Weekend pass: $40

Kids 12 and under are free.

What are the hours of Oktoberfest in Leavenworth

  • Fridays: 6 p.m. - 12 a.m.
  • Saturdays: 12 p.m. - 12 a.m.
  • Box office opens at 5:30 p.m. on Fridays and 11:30 a.m. on Saturdays for day of tickets

Things to do at Oktoberfest in Leavenworth

You can expect to see the following bands perform:

  • West Coast Prost: Oct. 4-5
  • Manuela Horn:  Oct. 11-12, 18-19
  • S Bahn: Oct. 4-5, 11-12, 18-19
  • Pech und Schwefel: Oct. 4-5, 11-12
  • Die Jungen Weststeirer: Oct. 18-19

The venues include the following:

  • Festhalle Main Stage
  • Bierzelt Stage
  • Front Street Park Stage
  • Street Fair

In addition to bands, the venues will have dance floors, accordions, yodelers, polka, and cover bands. Also, there will be photo opportunities scattered across the grounds, along with places to grab food, adult beverages, and merchandise.

Is Oktoberfest in Leavenworth family-friendly?

Yes. The Kinderplatz will have the following accommodations for families and kids:

  • Bouncy obstacle course
  • Root beer garden
  • Face painting
  • Games
  • Ferris wheel

Kinderplatz is free if you are entering the main beer gardens, but those only looking to have admission to this family section can get separate $5/person admission on Fridays, and $10/person on Saturdays.

How much does beer, wine, cider cost?

  • Beer/cider (16 oz pour): $9
  • Wine/wine cocktails (7 oz pour): $9
  • Hard kombucha- (12 oz can): $9

The festival will no longer issue paper tickets. This year, festivalgoers can pick up a smartcard wristband upon entry which can be linked to a debit or credit card, allowing festivalgoers to tap and pay for food, beer and merchandise.

How to get to the Oktoberfest festival grounds in Leavenworth

The festival organizers will have a shuttle system in place throughout the festival weekends.

The shuttle is free and runs one hour before the events open and lasts until 12:15 a.m.

The routes will go as far west as Icicle Road, south to Sleeping Lady, east to Safeway (Park and Ride), and north to Ski Hill Drive, with other stops around town delivering you to the Oktoberfest gate. Please wave down the bus for stops. The shuttles are ADA wheelchair accessible, according to the Leavenworth Oktoberfest website.
