Family of missing Sunday school teacher speaks out

Puyallup police are asking for help finding a 35-year-old Pierce County woman who went missing in Puyallup over the weekend. The family of Jessica Lynne McBeath says she was on her way to City Central Church in Tacoma to teach kids on Sunday morning, but never made it there or to her work on Monday.

Jessica McBeath, 35, was on her way to City Central Church on Tacoma Mall Blvd on the morning of Sunday, October 6. Her family says her phone cut out after she stopped to fill up her car at a gas station and has not been heard from since.

Caught on bodycam: Tacoma police nab armed burglary suspect

Footage from body worn cameras show serial cannabis store burglary suspect running away after a chase from police. He was apprehended near an apartment complex with the help of coordinated efforts of officers and K9 Odin. As for the original car chase, Tacoma Police said, “The suspects led officers on a high-speed pursuit into King County, with speeds ranging from 60 to 100 miles per hour. Considering the seriousness of the crime, the suspects' involvement in a series of burglaries, and the time of day with minimal traffic, officers initiated the pursuit.”
